Hi! Welcome to the Little Deer Sangha! We are based in Cookhill near Redditch, a meeting place where you can relax, enjoy the moment and find peace!

Deer are a direct reference to Buddha's first teaching in the Deer Park. It is told that his appearance was so wondrous and his presence so peaceful that deer came to listen to him. We also have lots of Roe deer and Muntjac deer in the woods surrounding the village!

We follow the practice of the Community Of Interbeing Read more and meet every month (2010 meet dates below left) at Cookhill Village Hall, Evesham Road (A441), Cookhill, Warwickshire (between Astwood Bank & Alcester) Map.

If you would like to be informed of any group news and new dates etc please feel free to send me an email (see below)

Here is a sample agenda Click Here. We have chairs to sit on if you do not have a meditation cushion. Wearing something loose and comfortable for meditation will help you relax! The room is heated and carpeted and has nice views of the countryside.

Unlike full days of mindfulness, there is no need to bring food to share for lunch all we ask is for a £2 donation towards the cost of hiring the hall. We share tea and cookies instead! When the weather is good we will often sit in the hall gardens and watch the clouds drift by! We also practise Qi Gong and Yoga breathing exercises too.

Hope to see you at our next meeting!

Until then, may your days be full of bright beautiful flowers!

Best wishes,

Heath
